The Malinoff Residence (1958), designed by Robert Malinoff during his time at USC School of Architecture, exemplifies mid-century post-and-beam design.

Situated in Beachwood Canyon at the base of Mount Lee, the home offers unobstructed views of the Hollywood sign and integrates seamlessly with its natural surroundings. Malinoff’s design features simple materials, an open connection to the outdoors, and a commitment to privacy.

"In the recent restoration, I maintained the original red brick and wooden beams while updating essential systems. The residence, with its four bedrooms and three bathrooms, reflects a balance of mid-century elegance and modern functionality."
