The Robert & Rachel Corey Residence (1954), designed by Jack Corey while at USC, exemplifies his early mastery of

California modernism.

Located on a quiet cul-de-sac on Edgeview Drive, the home offers striking views of the San Gabriel Mountains and city lights.

Corey’s design integrates deep eaves and expansive glass walls, creating a fluid connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.

"In the recent restoration, I preserved these original features while incorporating modern updates, including custom birch cabinetry and Japanese tile. The reintroduced trellis enhances the outdoor living areas, underscoring the residence’s blend of innovative design and enduring appeal.”
